First Walkway Pavement Poured on TRON Lightcycle / Run!

This evening our friend @bioreconstruct posted some updates from the Magic Kingdom and TRON Lightcycle / Run photos when one thing in particular stood out: the walkway has finally started to be paved! Take a look for yourself below:
This is noteworthy because progress really seems to be picking up and nearing the finish line. Walkways and landscaping are some of the final stages of the construction process and TRON at the Magic Kingdom appears to be entering this stage! Here is a closeup of the area in question:
As far as an opening timeline for the TRON coaster goes, it’s hard to say. But our best guess is October 1, 2022. In addition to being Disney World’s 51st birthday, it’s also the start of a new fiscal quarter for the Walt Disney Company. And while it pains me to think that way, the leadership at Disney definitely thinks that way. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure followed the same logic by opening on October 1, 2021.
