Ah, the magical world of Disney! Millions of people visit the parks each year to experience that special Disney magic. But there are a few things that you should never do when visiting Disney World. From being overly aggressive with characters to bringing selfie sticks into the park, here are several blunders that can easily ruin your day or other’s at the happiest place on earth.

1. Don’t Cut In Line

Lines can get long quickly at Disney World, but cutting in line will only make them longer for everyone else. There are also security cameras throughout the park so don’t think you won’t get caught and punished! If you want to avoid long lines altogether, try using Lightning Lane or book a character meal instead.

2. Don’t Run Around

This one may seem obvious but it still happens all too often—running around in the park is not allowed! Running puts yourself and others in harm’s way and can disrupt other guests who are trying to enjoy their time at Disney World in peace and quiet. So keep your running shoes at home and just take it easy while you explore the parks!

3. Don’t Wear Inappropriate Clothing

It goes without saying that appropriate attire is required when visiting any theme park — especially one as iconic as Disney World! Wearing anything offensive or inappropriate will definitely get you noticed—but not in a good way—so make sure to dress modestly and respectfully when visiting the parks.

4. Don’t Hoard Souvenirs

It’s understandable that you want to leave Disney World with some souvenirs as a reminder of your trip but please remember that there are other guests who also want to buy something special for their families. With that being said, be mindful when buying multiple items and don’t hog all the merchandise so that nobody else can get any.

5. Don’t Ignore Safety Rules

Disney attractions have safety rules for a reason—to keep everyone safe! Don’t ignore these rules and put yourself and others in danger by standing up while the ride is moving or not following instructions from Cast Members. Pay attention to your surroundings and make sure you are following all safety protocols so that everyone can have an enjoyable time at Disney World!

In Brief

Visiting Disney World should be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved and following these tips will ensure that your trip is as enjoyable as possible for all involved! Remember, be kind to characters, respect other guests, wear appropriate clothing, don’t cut lines or run around in the parks, and above all else have fun! We hope these simple rules will remind you of some basic manners when visiting Disney World so that everyone can have an enjoyable experience without any unpleasantness! Keep these tips in mind and don’t forget to enjoy all the wonderful attractions, delicious food, and exciting shows that Disney World has to offer!
