Disney World Character Dining Guide (2024 & 2025)

Pooh and Tigger at Disney World

Character dining is an experience you and your family will never forget.

However, as of 2024, there are currently 13 character dining locations to choose from, it can be pricey and there are many more things to consider. Which characters are available? Is the location convenient for you? And if you have a picky eater, what kind of food is served?

Well, I’ve got the ultimate list to help you decide which character dining experience is right for you. And with so many characters, we recommend bringing something for the characters to autograph, such as Disney Who’s Who: A-Z Character Guide in paperback. Here is your complete guide to every character dining experience at Walt Disney World!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

  • Characters: Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora and Ariel appear on a rotating schedule of storybook princesses.
  • Location & Time: Akershus is located in the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Cuisine: The food at Akershus is mostly Norwegian, but there are quite a few options for picky eaters as well!

  • Cuisine: French cuisine with options such as filet mignon and Poulet Rouge™ chicken.

Cape May Cafe

Chef Mickey’s

  • Characters: Meet the fab five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy) all decked out in their chef getup!
  • Location & Time: Chef Mickeys is located at the Contemporary Resort, another one of the monorail resorts. Breakfast and dinner.

  • Cuisine: Garden Grill serves southern comfort food.

Hollywood & Vine

  • Characters: Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. One cool thing about this restaurant is that the characters’ outfits change each season!
  • Location & Time: Hollywood Studios. Only available at lunch and dinner.
  • Cuisine: American, standard buffet options such as carved beef tenderloin and herbed chicken.

  • Characters: Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto.

  • Cuisine: The food at Ohana is inspired by Asian/Pacific Island cuisine. They are known for their bread pudding and noodles.

Storybook Dining at Artist Point

  • Characters: Snow White, the fairest of them all is the star of the show. This dining experience is special in that you can meet characters that normally aren’t in the parks (Evil Queen, Grumpy, Dopey).
  • Location & Time: Artist Point is located at the beautiful Wilderness Lodge Resort. If you’re spending your day in Magic Kingdom, you can ride a boat to Wilderness from the park! Dinner is the only time characters appear.
  • Cuisine: I can tell you first hand that the food is absolutely delicious! Artist Point serves German/Bavarian inspired food, such as “Cottage” Beef Stroganoff.

  • Location & Time: 1900 Park Fare is located at the Victorian themed Grand Floridian Resort. This resort is conveniently located on the Magic Kingdom resort monorail loop. Open for breakfast and dinner buffets.
  • Cuisine: Some of the options at 1900 Park Fare include gumbo and their infamous strawberry soup!

As you can see, there is a plethora of options to choose from for character dining. I highly recommend making reservations – if you’re staying at a Disney resort you can make them up to 60 days in advance. Like I said before, you won’t want to miss the chance to create memories that’ll last a lifetime.
