If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, one thing you’ll certainly want to consider is adding a dining plan to your vacation package.

Not only does it add convenience and flexibility, but it gives you peace of mind too. With over 200 dining locations to choose from, spread throughout Disney Resort hotels, theme parks, and Disney Springs, you can be sure you’ll find something to delight your taste buds no matter where you are.

There are two dining plans to choose from as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company Package: The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan. Both plans offer everyone in your party (ages 3 and over) a specific number of meals and snacks based on the number of nights of your Disney Resort stay. Just pick the plan that fits your vacation style and dining needs!

Starting May 31st, 2023, guests can add a dining plan to packages that include a Disney Resort hotel stay with arrivals on or after January 9, 2024.

The best part? You get to enjoy your meals and snacks on your own time. Redeem them whenever you want during your stay—they’re all yours. And if for some reason you don’t get around to using them all, no worries. Unused meals and snacks carry over day to day and won’t expire until midnight on the day of checkout.

For example, let’s say you book a 4-night package with a dining plan that includes one snack per day. Each Guest (ages 3 and up) in your party would receive 4 snacks, which you can enjoy at any time during your 4-night stay. Why not add a little magic to your meals and snacks on your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation? You won’t regret it!

Disney Dining Plan Prices for 2024 (per person, per night)

When it comes to getting the most out of your family’s Walt Disney World experience, the dining plan is an absolute game-changer. Seriously, you can save up to 20% on delicious meals and snacks for kids ages 3 to 9, just by purchasing a dining plan as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company package. While pricing depends on your specific vacation package and the amount of days you’ll be staying, there is a general cost per night per person:

  • Quick-Service Plan: Adult $57, Child $23.83
  • Disney Dining Plan: Adult $94.28, Child $29.69

In Detail: Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan

If you’re a family on the move with little ones in tow, we’ve got the perfect meal plan solution for you! The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is a hassle-free option that lets you dine casually at a variety of Quick-Service locations whenever you’re ready to take a break. Plus, no dining reservations are required!

What’s included? Glad you asked!

For each night of your stay, everyone ages 3 and up in your party gets:

  • 2 Quick-Service meals
  • 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Drink per night of stay
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug—a real lifesaver for those hot Disney days

Here’s how it works: the number of meals and snacks you get are based on the number of nights included in the package, and they can be redeemed at any time during your stay. And, if you don’t use them all, no worries! They’ll roll over day to day and expire at midnight on the day of checkout. Plus, they’re nontransferable between party members.

A few things to keep in mind: beverages are included with each meal, and for those under 21, nonalcoholic options are available. If you’re 21 or over, feel free to substitute for beer, wine or cocktails with a valid ID. And, for little ones ages 3 to 9, children’s menus are available.

One more thing — the plan must be bought for the entire length of stay and for everyone in the party who is age 3 and up. But, once you have the plan, you can dine and snack at your own pace, giving you the flexibility to enjoy your Disney vacation at its fullest.

To make it easier, let’s break it down to an example: if you’re booking a 4-night package with a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, you’ll receive 8 Quick-Service meals and 4 Snacks or Nonalcoholic Beverages per person (ages 3 and up) in your party, which can be used at any time during your 4-night stay. Sounds good? Let’s eat!

In Detail: Disney Dining Plan

If you’re a lover of all things Disney, you know that there’s nothing quite like bonding with loved ones over a good meal. And with the Disney Dining Plan, you’re in for an unforgettable experience!

The Plan is perfect if you want to slow things down and create memories during sit-down meals, or if you want to see the kids light up during Character Dining. It includes classic dining options at both Quick-Service and Table-Service restaurants, along with Character Dining locations.

With the Disney Dining Plan, you can easily plan meals around your family’s schedule. Pick Quick-Service when you’re on the go, or choose Table-Service when you’re ready to savor the moment – the choice is yours.

Here’s What You’ll Get

  • 1 Quick-Service Meal (per night of stay)
  • 1 Table-Service Meal (per night of stay)
  • 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
  • 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug (1 per person)

This applies to everyone in the party aged 3 and over. The specific number of meals and snacks depends on the number of nights included in the package stay. What’s more, meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on the day of checkout. Meals and snacks are nontransferable between party members.

To add to the fun, Resort-refillable mugs are included in the package which are eligible for refills from self-service beverage islands at any Disney Resort hotel Quick-Service location.

Important Information

Beverages are included in each meal. Guests aged under 21 may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. For guests aged 21 and older with valid identification, beer, wine, and cocktails are available for substitution.

Reservations at Table-Service restaurants are subject to availability and are highly recommended. Two table-service meals will be redeemed for each person dining at a Fine/Signature Dining experience, select Character Dining experience, or Dinner Show.

Guests aged 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu, where available. The Plan must be purchased for the entire length of stay and for the entire party (ages 3 and up).

Remember, with the Disney Dining Plan, meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. So, if you book a 4-night package with the Plan, each Guest (ages 3 and up) in your party would receive 4 Table-Service meals, 4 Quick-Service meals, and 4 snacks or nonalcoholic beverages—perfect for an unforgettable vacation with your loved ones!
