Disney World is one of the most magical places on Earth, but navigating such a large complex can be overwhelming, especially for first-time visitors. To make things easier, I have designed a subway-style transportation map of Walt Disney World Resort that will help you get around quickly and easily. This map includes all modes of transportation, such as monorails, boats, buses, and the new Skyliner.

With this user-friendly subway-style transportation map of Walt Disney World Resort, your vacation is going to be even smoother. And guess what? The map is designed in Harry Beck’s style! If you’re wondering what that means, let me fill you in: Harry Beck was the creator of the London Underground’s iconic modernist map. Beck realized that passengers were not trying to follow representations of the geographic world above ground, but rather navigate from stop to stop relatively speaking. And that idea completely transformed how underground transit maps are designed today.

Read on to learn more about the different modes of transportation and how this map can make your vacation even smoother.

The Magical Subway-Style Map of Disney World Transportation

The EPCOT Monorail is indicated in red on the map. This line provides transportation to and from EPCOT, passing through EPCOT upon arrival. The EPCOT Monorail runs loops between the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and EPCOT. This is a great way to get to EPCOT faster than by road.

The Resort Monorail is indicated in green. This line provides transportation to and from Magic Kingdom and the surrounding resorts by circling Seven Seas Lagoon. The Resort Monorail stops at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Magic Kingdom. If you’re staying at one of these resorts, this is a great way to get to Magic Kingdom quickly and easily.

The Skyliner is one of the newest modes of transportation at Walt Disney World Resort and is indicated in yellow on the map. This line provides transportation to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and various resorts. The Skyliner is a gondola system that connects guests to Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. If you’re staying at one of these resorts or visiting one of these parks, the Skyliner is a fun and unique way to get around.

The Ferry is indicated in aqua on the map. This line provides transportation to and from Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). The Ferry is a classic, scenic way to get to Magic Kingdom and is perfect for those who want to take in the beautiful views of the park and surrounding areas.

The Water Taxi is indicated in blue on the map. This line provides transportation to and from various resorts and parks via the waterways connecting them. The Water Taxi is a relaxing way to get around and allows you to take in the beauty of the surrounding areas while cruising along the water.

Bus and road transportation is indicated in gray on the map. This line represents the many buses that travel throughout Walt Disney World Resort, providing transportation to and from all resorts and parks. Buses are a reliable and efficient way to get around and are perfect for those who want to easily access any area of the resort.
